Heather McManus

Hello everyone!  Art has been a passion of mine all my life.  I can remember my grandmother teaching me as a child how to draw horses using "circles and sausages."  Now, I enjoy taking inspiration from nature.  As a naturalist and avid birder, a biological illustration class taught me how to combine my love of art and science.  

Painting is a meditative outlet for me, and I love nothing more than seeing an image in my head come to life on paper.  I primarily work in watercolors, but I'm also experienced with pen and ink, oils and 3-D media.  I live in Germany, speak four languages and love to travel.
